Baker, Tom

Tom
joined Roth Mosey & Partners in 1991 after having spent the
previous 10 years as a partner at another local accounting firm and at
the national firm now known as KPMG. He has extensive experience with
assisting a wide range of clients in the Windsor and surrounding area
in all their accounting, tax, and business development needs.
Tom’s volunteer activities have included terms as President of the
Essex Kent CA Association and The Inn of Windsor, as Treasurer for the
Windsor Chamber of Commerce “Challenge Cup” Committee and the Sandwich
Community Health Centre and as an instructor for the pilot program of
“Project Business” through Junior Achievement.
Tom received his BA in Economics from the University of
Waterloo in 1974, his BComm from the University of Windsor in 1975 and
his CA designation in 1978.

Curtis, Patrick

Patrick is a tax partner in the firm joining it in 2001 after spending nine years with another local accounting firm. Patrick has completed the CICA In-Depth Tax Course and annually attends the CICA’s National Conference on Income Taxes. He has experience dealing with a wide variety of small business and professional clients as well as the cross border tax implications of individuals and corporations engaged in activities in the U.S.
Patrick’s volunteer activities include serving various positions on the executive of the Knights of Columbus and coaching Little League baseball.
Patrick received his BComm from the University of Windsor in 1989 and his CA designation in 1991.

Gagnon, Rodney

Rodney joined Roth Mosey & Partners in 1999. He works with a wide range of owner-managed enterprises to provide all their accounting, tax and business development needs. He also has extensive experience in SR & ED and cash flow projections.
Rodney has volunteered his time as a Big Brother with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Windsor-Essex since 2001.
Rodney received his BComm from the University of Windsor in 1999 and his CA designation in 2002.

Ryan joined the Firm as a tax partner in 2011. He previously worked at the national accounting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP for more than 12 years. He has extensive experience in personal, corporate and trust tax planning and compliance. Ryan specializes in owner-manager tax issues, including corporate restructuring, purchase and sale transactions, succession, estate and post mortem planning and he acts as a trusted business advisor to many entrepreneurs in the local community.
Ryan earned his Master of Accounting degree from the University of Waterloo in 1999 and his CA designation in 2000. He has completed numerous tax courses sponsored by the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants including the In-Depth Income Tax Program. He has presented at the Canadian Tax Foundation’s Ontario Tax Conference and at meetings of the Detroit Estate Planning Council and the Windsor Estate Planning Council. He has written articles that have been published in national releases for PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, as well as in local business magazines.
Ryan’s past volunteer activities have included terms as a director for the Essex Kent Chartered Accountants’ Association and Big Brothers of Windsor. Ryan has also participated in the United Way’s Leadership Windsor Essex program.

Marchand, Michael

Michael is a tax partner in the Firm joining it in 2001. He has over 20 years experience in personal and corporate tax planning and compliance. He has significant experience in corporate restructuring including designing tax effective strategies to meet the needs of the owner-manager's estate planning goals. Michael works with a broad range of clients including those with Canadian and US income tax requirements.
Michael continues to serve his profession as an adjunct instructor in taxation for the University of Windsor and has lectured in taxation for the Institute of Chartered Accountants School of Accountancy and the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants Income Tax Practice Course.
Michael's volunteer community service includes serving for over 10 years as a board and committee member with Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital in Windsor, serving on its Executive committee as well as chairing the Audit and Finance committee.
Michael received his Master of Business Administration from the University of Windsor in 1978 and his CA designation in 1981. He has also completed numerous in-depth income tax programs sponsored by the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants including the In-Depth Income Tax Program.

Anthony joined Roth Mosey & Partners LLP in 2003. He is involved primarily with owner-managed, not-for profit businesses and professional corporations providing a wide range of business advisory and compliance services. Anthony has significant experience working on audit and review engagements. Prior to joining Roth Mosey & Partners LLP, he worked at the national accounting firm KPMG for five years. While at KPMG, Anthony was the lead auditor/manager overseeing the audits of many local municipal and public sector engagements. Anthony’s combined experience allows him to provide insight into business processes and internal controls that promote strong business practices.
Anthony’s volunteer activities include an appointment to the Board of Directors of the Art Gallery of Windsor Foundation and terms as Treasurer and board member for the Windsor Roseland Rotary Club.
Anthony is a graduate of the University of Windsor where he received his Bcomm in 1998 and his CA designation in 2002.

Greg is one of the founding partners of the firm, having joined with Peter Roth to launch the practice in 1983. Previously Greg worked with the firms now known as Ernst & Young and Collins Barrows in London, Ontario. He works with a wide range of owner-managed enterprises and has experience in purchases and sales of businesses and SR&ED activities.
Greg's volunteer activities have included terms on the Lambton Middlesex CA Association and Board Member of Handi Transit Windsor, Family Respite Services and Pointe West Golf Club.
Greg was the 2006 recipient of the annual Community Awareness Award sponsored by the Windsor Residence for Young Men.
Greg received his BComm from the University of Windsor in 1975 and his CA designation in 1977.

Roth, Peter

Peter
is one of the founding partners of the firm, having joined with Greg
Mosey to launch the practice in 1983. He is the firm’s managing
partner. Peter began his public accounting career in 1975 with the firm
now known as KPMG. In addition to his administrative responsibilities,
Peter’s practice focus has been in working with numerous owner-managed
businesses, providing a wide range of business advisory and compliance
services, with the primary goal being to enhance the value of the
client’s business.
Peter has been active outside the practice in a variety of
undertakings, including roles as President for the Windsor Estate
Planning Council, the Essex Kent CA Association, the Windsor Essex
Children’s Aid Society, and Pointe West Golf Club. He has also served
in the past as a director of Junior Achievement and for many years as a
coach in Windsor Minor Hockey.
Peter received a BA from the University of Windsor in 1970, a BComm
from the University of Windsor in 1977 and his CA designation in 1978.

Claire joined Roth Mosey & Partners in 1988 after twelve years with

in financing, mergers and acquisitions and management information
systems. His knowledge provides them with the advice necessary to

Claire has served as Treasurer of the Board of Windsor Western
Hospital and Big Brothers of Windsor/Essex County and Chair of the
Windsor Regional Hospital Foundation.

Beth joined Roth Mosey & Partners in 1991 after three years with the firm now known as KPMG. She has extensive experience with assisting a wide range of clients in Windsor and the surrounding area in all their accounting, tax and business development needs. She also has significant knowledge and experience in assisting our farm based clients in obtaining available assistance through government programs, as well as expertise in assessing SR&ED qualifications and the availability of incentives through other government assistance programs.
Beth’s past volunteer activities include terms as a board member of the Windsor Regional Hospital Foundation, a member of the City of Windsor Race & Ethnocultural Relations Committee, a director on the board of the Multicultural Council of Windsor and Essex County, a member of the Windsor Symphony Finance Committee and Treasurer of Scouts Canada.
Beth received a master of arts from the University of Toronto and her CA designation in 1991.
